Mission Camp is Sunday night (July 14) through Thursday morning (July 18). Students must spend the night at Auburn UMC and attend all mission camp activities, no partial days or checking out. If you have questions, please email Lindsey Middleton at lindseym@aumc.net.

During the Day: Students go out in teams to work in our community.

At Night: Students have worship and fun activities before spending the night at the church.

Off Campus Excursion (Thursday to Friday)

We are still working on plans for our off campus excursion, after which we’ll return to Auburn UMC for one last night of fun. Details coming soon!

Cost and Online Registration

Cost is $225 per student.

Registration is available online HERE and payment is required to register. Payment via cash or check should accompany a paper registration form, available in the Youth Office or you can download a printable registration form HERE.

Through the Travis Rabren Memorial Youth Scholarship Fund, full and partial scholarships are available for Sweat Week. If you are interested in a scholarship print and complete a paper registration form at the link above as well as a scholarship request form HERE and submit them both to Lindsey in the Youth Office at lindseym@aumc.net.

Growing up in Auburn, Travis Rabren was a man of outstanding character, faith and leadership. His memory, along with his love for family, friends and this community, is honored whenever the Youth Scholarship Fund supports a student’s participation in an activity that helps to grow their faith!

Volunteers

We need you to volunteer at Sweat Week, and there are many spots to fill!

Our most important need is Work Site Leaders Monday-Wednesday, 8am-3pm. Skill sets might include directing and hanging out with students at a site, construction, yard work, etc. The number of students who can participate in Sweat Week is determined by the number of site leaders, so please consider being a work site leader for one, two, or all three days.

We also need volunteers to stay overnight and volunteers to help prepare and serve meals and snacks, and we can always use financial support with expenses like food, supplies, scholarships etc.

For any questions or information about how to volunteer, please contact Lindsey Middleton at lindseym@aumc.net.
