Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

Auburn UMC’s Youth Ministry exists to lift up Jesus. It is our mission to build a Christ-centered community that makes and equips disciples to impact their world. We offer a wide variety of activities including worship, biblical teaching, small groups, mission projects, and annual retreats.

Our Core Values | Colossians 3:1-3

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.”

Happening Now in Youth Ministry

Youth Sunday School

Sunday School meets in the Youth Room (C179) at 9:30am and 11am. Join us for a lesson, snacks, and hanging out.

Midweek

During the summer our Midweek event is our summer Tour of Pools. We’ll spend time swimming, eating pizza for dinner (we provide the food and drinks), and hanging out.

Tour of Pools dates are: June 1, June 8, June 15, June 29, July 6, July 13, and July 27.

Please contact Marc if you have a pool in your backyard or neighborhood that could be reserved on a Wednesday night for Midweek/Tour of Pools.

Games and Grub

Games and Grub will meet on Tuesdays, June 14, June 28, July 12 and July 26 from 11am-1pm. We will meet in front of the Youth Center at AUMC. We’ll walk downtown to get lunch (bring money) and then walk back to the church to hang out and play games.

Please note that school year weekly events such as MYF, Morning Studies, and Dgroups will start back September.

Youth Parent Collective

Auburn UMC Youth Ministry’s Youth Parent Collective will be offered as an ongoing series of resources to help youth parents embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with parenting youth in today’s context and culture.
