Christmas Festival Symphonic Pops Concert

On December 11, Auburn UMC will present the 22nd Annual Christmas Festival, the area’s largest Christmas musical presentation featuring the 100+ voice Festival Choir and full professional orchestra.  Always the highlight of the season and the largest Christmas musical production of the year at Auburn UMC, this year’s 22^nd  Annual Christmas Festival will feature the widest range of music repertoire ever. Christmas Festival will remind you why this truly is the most wonderful and joyous time of the year!

Christmas Festival’s day of celebration will begin with a special Festival Lessons and Carols Worship Service. The special service will be held in the sanctuary at 11am featuring the Festival Choir and orchestra in a moving and inspiring service.

At 6pm the choir and orchestra will return for the Christmas Festival Symphonic Pops Concert with its most ambitious Christmas performance to date. Concert attendees will delight in hearing all their holiday favorites from the sacred to the Pops with magnificent new arrangements by many of America’s most well-known composers and orchestra favorites. The high-energy performance with dazzling lighting effects and scenery make this a great musical treat for all ages. Auburn UMC’s Chancel Choir is highly regarded in the community for choral excellence and recently performed three solo performances to enthusiastic audiences in Utah. They have also performed at Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and Carnegie Hall in New York City. They will appear in concert in London in May of 2023.
