A Conversation with Lynda B. Lowery

February 28 6:30 pm  |  Auburn UMC Sanctuary

220 East Magnolia Avenue, Auburn, AL, USA

Lynda B. Lowery was 15 years old when she courageously marched for voting rights for Black Americans in 1965. She endured the horror of Bloody Sunday on Edmund Pettus Bridge. We’re honored to have her join us to share her inspiring story about fighting for freedom for all. We’ll also learn about her book, Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom, and have opportunities to connect with local organizations after the conversation. Rev. Dr. Joan Harrell of Auburn University will be returning to lead the conversation.
