Discovery Club

Discovery Club is an after school care program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Students are picked up at Auburn City Schools and transported to the church by Discovery Club buses. Parents must pick up their children from Discovery Club no later than 5:30 p.m.

Children are divided into age groups for afternoon rotations, all of which meet upstairs in the Mathison Education Building. Discovery Club provides a range of activities that include directed homework time, daily snack, gym activities, outdoor fun, crafts, special events, and mission projects.

Application Fee

• $25 per student, due with application

If an application isn’t accepted due to spaces being filled, the Application Fee will be refunded, and you will have the option of placing your student(s) on the waiting list.

Supply and Activity Fee
Due once the application is approved

• $100 for one student
• $150 for two related students (siblings in the same home)
• $175 for three related students (siblings in the same home)

Tuition
Tuition includes transportation via our buses and a daily snack consisting of a fruit, a salty, and a sweet. Tuition is billed monthly, with 10-equal payments from August to May. Tuition is due within ten days of the invoice date. Invoices are sent monthly and can be paid online. Financial aid information is available upon request.

• 3 students (siblings in the same home) $115 per month ($475 total)

Excessive late payments (payments received beyond ten days of the invoice date) three or more times during the school year could jeopardize your child’s spot in the program.

We do not offer prorated tuition for any reason including illness, vacation, or months with extended breaks from school. Discovery Club tuition is divided into ten equal payments for the school year. The payment is the same despite the number of days students attend.
