Description:  Philippi was the first place in Europe that heard the news that there was a new king, the crucified and risen Jesus of Nazareth. Within thirty years, in this joyful letter, Paul has worked out a wonderful, many- colored picture of what Jesus achieved, of God’s worldwide plan and of how it all works out in the lives of ordinary people. Philippians calls us to live a life worthy of the name of Christ.

Led by Cory Smith
Tuesdays, 10am, beginning April 28
Six week study
Click here to order the book!

Description:  How do we live in the present moment?  How, in this time of “sheltering in place” can we practice Jesus’ command in Matthew 6:33 seriously to “Seek first the Kingdom of God?”  How would it change the way we live and interact with one another?  Our culture teaches us to rush through daily life at a breathless pace from one thing to the next, as we jump mentally ahead to the next thing while doing this one.  In many ways, we are never truly present to the moment we’re actually living. You are invited to join us on a journey while “sheltering in place” to “practice the presence” of God as we study the ancient spiritual practice of mindfulness, Right Here, Right Now.
