Book Club
Book Club: Walking in the Dust of Rabbi Jesus by Lois Tverberg
*Registration for this book club has closed. Please check back for more Book Club opportunities after Lent!*
Ever wish you could travel back in time to Jesus’ day and hear his earth-shattering words as they were first heard, in their native language and culture? What difference does it make that Jesus was Jewish? Unlocking His heritage gives us a richer understanding of Christ’s ministry, compelling us to live with renewed spiritual passion as we embrace the joy and wisdom of Rabbi Jesus.
Reading together through the Lenten season, the group will meet twice, at the beginning to get acquainted and then during Holy Week to reflect on their spiritual growth as they journeyed through the reading and their own walk with Rabbi Jesus.
- Get Acquainted: Thursday, February 25 at 7pm
- Reflect Together: Monday, April 5 at 7pm
Led by Glen and Margaret Vollenweider

- Thursday, March 11 — Let’s Talk!

(If you have time, we invite participants to read the book The Anatomy of Peace by the Arbinger Institute before this conversation. Please know that reading this book is not a prerequisite to participation.)
- Thursday, March 18 — Loving Our Neighbor
- In the last year we have had many moments to grow in our understanding of exploring how we interact and love people of different races and backgrounds. We invite you to join in this vital conversation.
