Chime Choir for 1st-3rd graders
Children, in interactive ways, are taught rhythms, listening skills and other related musical skills. Using handchimes, children provide special music for worship services throughout the year. We meet every Tuesday during the school year from 3:30 – 4:15pm in Room A-121 (the Bell Room).
Joyful Ringers for 4th-6th graders

Children have fun in rehearsals learning how to help lead the congregation worship time and preparing for the annual Bell Festival (Road Trip). We meet Sunday evenings at 6:00 – 6:45pm in Room A-121.
Genuine Bells for 7th-12th graders
The Genuine Bells are one our most outstanding handbell groups. They perform for our worship services and many community events. We meet on Sunday afternoons 3:00 – 3:45pm in Room A-121.
Village Bells for College Students and Adults
This was the original AUMC Handbell Choir, formed over 25 years ago in cooperation with the Auburn Music Club, made up of members of our church and community. This group performs in many different venues and is ready to carry the Message of Christ to the community. We meet on Tuesdays 11:00am – 12:00pm in Room A-121.
Bell Ensemble for Adults (Audition only)
The Bell Ensemble started as a small group of 5 players ringing 3 octaves of handbells and became so popular the waiting list to join continues to grow. This bell group, as well as other parts of the Bell Program allow people of all ages to use their talents in unique ways to bring joy to many people. This group meets on Monday evenings 5:30 – 6:30pm in the Handbell Room and has grown to 5 octaves of handbells and 5 octaves of handchimes.
The Handbell program is a unique part of the Music Ministry at Auburn United Methodist Church. Positions are often available. Contact Julia Norton at 821-0230 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
