Panama Mission Trip

The Evangelical Methodist Church of Panama has a long history of serving with the Ngobe Indians of Western Panama. A mission team from AUMC first visited the Ngobe in 1991 and have sent many teams to Panama since then. Recently, the Singles Ministry has worked on a housing project in the Ngobe Comarca (Reservation) about one hour east of David. Plans are to build sixty 20’ X 20’ houses in the Comarca, at a cost of $4,000 each. This project is similar to the one our church helped to successfully complete in Nicaragua.

Join us in Panama this summer doing light duty construction on the Ngobe Indian housing project. Appropriate for ages 14+.

Contact Keith Foster at keith.foster@aumc.net or 334-310-6024 to contribute to the housing project.

Our Singles Ministry team has made it back safely from a successful and blessed week in Panama.

They got to work closely with the Ngobe people as well as the missionaries serving in Cienaguita to get the structure and the slab completed. Thank you to all of those who kept the team in their prayers while they were down there serving.

Next scheduled trip:  June 9-16, 2018.
