Where Moms Connect
Everyone needs community, especially mothers of young children. Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) hopes to provide just that. MOPS is a non-denominational, faith based organization that exists to encourage women with children ages birth through Kindergarten. Our chapter aims to do this through bi-monthly meetings, play dates, Moms’ Nights and service projects. Meetings provide a welcoming environment with much needed grown up conversation, presentation of relevant parenting, marriage and social topics, the occasional craft, and of course, breakfast and coffee. Mommy friends are priceless; we hope you’ll join us!
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday from 9:30-11:30 in Epworth Commons.
Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/mopsofauburn/. Contact Elizabeth Scheeter at 205-914-7012 for additional information.
From the MOPS International Website:
MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers.
We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another.
We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.
