Flight 456 is AUMC’s
Ministry for Tweens. The purpose of
this ministry is for all 4th,
5th and 6th
graders to come to know Jesus and
His love and learn to follow Him.
The children will have an
opportunity to do this in Sunday
School, Grapple and other special
activities planned throughout the
year.
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning
we meet in room A208 for Sunday
School at 9:30 and 11:00. We start
the hour off with snack and
assembly, where we learn the Bible
lesson for the day. Each class goes
to a workshop such as art, cooking,
science, games, drama, movies or
computer after assembly. In each
workshop, the children will have the
opportunity to learn and experience
the Bible lesson with a “hands on”
activity. We wrap up each Sunday
School hour with small group time.
During this time, the shepherd
(teacher) shows the children how the
Bible lesson is applicable to them
right now. For information call
Michelle Stearns at 559-9003.

to life and faith issues. Grapple

weekly challenge and exclusive
access to mygrapple.com, a safe
on-line community for the group that
includes weekly quizzes, games,
polls, discussion starters and a
place to post prayer requests and
messages.
