The
mission of the AUMC MERCY
Ministry is to witness God’s
love to others by giving
financial assistance to persons
in Lee County who are
experiencing a crisis in their
lives and are temporarily unable
to provide for themselves and/or
their families. In addition to
monetary aide, the MERCY
committee members, other
volunteers and the coordinator
prayerfully strive to give
information, referrals, verbal
support, encouragement and a
listening heart to persons
seeking help in hard times.
MERCY’s goal is to “Help People
Help Themselves” by going the
second mile. This ministry
seeks to promote and nurture
self-reliance and healthy
life-styles through
understanding, encouragement,
prayer and Christian love.
MERCY serves clients by
appointments. Please call

available Monday-Thursday from
1:15 - 4 p.m. to make appointments with
the coordinator.
