Sunday School
Sunday school is a fun and relevant Bible study on Sunday mornings. This is the place to be right before or right after your morning worship service to engage in lessons that are clear, complete and apply to your everyday life.
Jr. High and Sr. High students are combined in an interactive Sunday school experience in which a leader presents a passage of Scripture with discussion questions, and co-leaders assist small groups of students in working through the meaning of the text. Sunday school meets at 9:30 and 11:00a.m. in the Epworth Center.
MYF
MYF is the largest weekly gathering for the youth group. We get together each Sunday night from 5-7:00 p.m. for an action-packed night full of music, games, contests, skits, a challenging message, small group discussion, and of course, food! Topics for MYF are prayerfully selected and geared to connect and engage students. A snack supper is served from 5-5:30 p.m. and the cost is $3.
Jr. High MYF meets in the upstairs gym of the Mathison Building. Sr. High MYF meets in the Epworth Center Activity Room next to the Snack Bar.
D-groups
One of the first things you will notice about our youth group is that it's big! Don't let that scare you off. At Vertical Ministries we know that it can be hard sometimes to immediately feel like you fit in to such a large group but an easy way to get involved is through our D-Groups.
These are our small groups where you will have a chance to hang out with students your age, learn from cool adult leaders, and go a little deeper in your relationship with God. D-Groups meet either on Tuesday or Wednesday nights during the school year, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
