Children's Choirs

Numerous research studies have proven that children who have a stronger foundation in music do better academically. Brain research indicates a high correlation between music and the ability to learn at a higher rate than those students who were not exposed to music and the arts.

AUMC we also feel that praising the Lord through music is a wonderful way to express our love to God. We are committed to providing a high quality music education experience for children and offer programs for all age groups starting at 4-year olds. Best of all, your child can enjoy quality musical training at no cost to you. All of our children's choir programs are provided free of charge. Our mission is to know God and His love, sing His praises, lead worship, have fun, enjoy friends and learn music!

Special Note to Parents

Parent involvement is a vitally important part of our children’s music ministry. The quality of children’s music ministry is directly related to parental participation. All parents are encouraged to volunteer in some way. Signups are done upon registering your child. Parents are encouraged to contact the music office for additional information.

We have a Children's Choir Parent Council, and are looking for a few new members. Parental input is vital to this ministry, and we invite you to give us your candid input at these meetings.  If you're interested in serving, please contact either Patti Hanson at 826-8800 or your child's choir director.
