2011 Holiday Bazaar, Art and Antique Show
Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

sponsored by the United Methodist Women's Ministry

The United Methodist Women’s ministry is preparing for its 25th annual Holiday Bazaar, Art and Antique Show and now is the time to reserve your booth! This is a great way for ministry areas to raise funds, and for local vendors to display their items for holiday sales.  This community event will take place in the AUMC Annex, Mathison Lobby and Fellowship Hall.

Vendors selling handmade crafts, jewelry, Christmas ornaments, art, antiques, food and other gifts for the holidays are encouraged to reserve a booth today by contacting Charlotte Brennan at 539-1124 or aumwbazaar@aol.com. Registration forms are also available on www.aumc.net and all forms are due by November 15. The cost to rent your 6-foot long space is $50 and vendors may rent up to three spaces if available at the time of registration.

Thinking of holiday shopping?  This is the place to find holiday goodies such as homemade breads, cakes, cookies, fudge, frozen casseroles and soups for your out-of-town guests.  You will also enjoy browsing oil, watercolor and pencil artwork, as well as pottery, woodwork, greeting cards, crafts, etc.  Antique lovers will particularly enjoy the vintage jewelry, linens, china, clocks, and silver.

Support missions with your holiday shopping!

Funds raised through booth reservations and sales at the UMW food booth support the organization's goal of sending at least two water purification systems to Haiti with the members of the upcoming mission team leaving in December..  Proceeds from last year's bazaar allowed the ladies to send one unit to Hait and assist with several local projects including CWJC, the AUMC MERCY Ministry, the Loachapoka After-School project, and the EAMC Cancer Foundation.  Combined with the funds raised at the recent Mother-Daughter Banquet, UMW was able to donate another $700 toward a second water purification system for Haiti in the past year.
